Proud Uncle Moment (My Niece is a Coder Now)

I was at my brother's house today to play games with the niece and nephews and my niece said she'd been coding and showed me her project in Python. I picked what type of horseback riding skills I wanted to learn, at what level I wanted to learn the skills, the name of the horse, and the duration of the lessons and it generated a detailed description of the services, what to expect, and a price quote. She's 13. The code was good. Two months ago she didn't know how to code.

I've been on a high all day. Before Christmas, her and her younger brothers were into super heroes and villains. For Christmas, I coded them a super character creator and fed the product into an AI image generator (before you judge me, I got them other gifts too so back off imaginary rude people). The idea was to create a super character including some background and personality traits to use as a skeleton for a more in depth back story and then create stories around them so we could explore our imaginations. When she saw it, she told her dad she wanted to learn how to code. I think she would have wanted to learn how to code anyways and she put in the effort and initiative while I've been working in Hawaii for the past month, but I feel so cool to be even a minor part of that story, one of many possible catalysts.

Her code is hers so you'll have to wait until she starts her horse ranch to see it. If you want the Python code I used, message me and I'll give it to you. I didn't put it on GitHub because I borrowed heavily from the Palladium role playing games of the 90s which are incredibly well thought out so it's unfair to put a product that isn't purely from my mind in wider circulation. I did make a few changes like allowing every country in the world to be generated as a point of origin with some weighting for population and then a heavy weighting for English speaking countries, adding description and detail in a few places, changing wording, and changing some probabilities. Below are some examples of the product:

Input process once the code is run
Alien example 1 (psychic villain)
Alien example 2 (power armor hero)
Alien example 3 (insect humanoid engineer that can walk through walls)
Mutant genius black bear
Nocturnal weapon smith
Royal guard cyborg
Snobby teleporting professor
Unpredictable and complex political operative
Mutant in touch with nature (except animals)
Sickly gambler who won a magical artifact in a card game
