Services Mécaniques L.G. has been operating in the small town of Saint-Anselme, a suburb of Quebec City, since 2009. The auto shop has seen significant growth since its inception and is now well established, proudly displaying the Bumper to Bumper Auto Service banner with a state-of-the-art building.?

"We have grown tremendously since 2009," said David Labonté, co-owner of Services Mécaniques L.G. "We started from scratch, with two lifts and one compressor. We built our customer base, which has remained loyal throughout the years. Then in 2015, we moved into a shop that is 100 feet long, very modern and up to date."

David Labonté and Martin Guay met while they were both employed at a local dealership. "We decided to start our own shop when the dealership closed. We had already worked closely together, so we knew we were a good team."

The word "team" is at the heart of the Saint-Anselme company's values. "I am very proud of what we have accomplished over the past few years," explained David. "I am grateful for our loyal customers who have followed us throughout the franchise’s changes in banners and locations. However, what I am most proud of is our team; we have mechanics who have been with us for over a decade and we have very little turnover. Martin and I can always count on them. In return, they can count on us. We truly are a family."

Services Mécaniques L.G. is the shop of choice for most residents in the region, thanks in part to the personalized and prompt service they receive in the garage. "When we moved to our current location, it was an obvious choice for us to go with Auto Service. Their delivery service is impeccable, and the clerks we work with are great. They are very knowledgeable and good business partners."

David Labonté also noted how Bumper to Bumper has brought them more visibility; "Our customers now have a sense of ownership because they see Bumper to Bumper advertising on television. This has piqued their interest and has sparked curiosity in new customers as well. We are getting noticed!"

For David and Martin, mechanics have always been a passion: "Ever since I was young, I've always loved anything with an engine," says David. "When I was a kid, we had motorcycles and ATVs. When I was 14 I got a scooter that I took apart and modified myself even though we didn't have the Internet at the time! Martin and I have always loved snowmobiles too. I'm happy to be able to work with what I'm passionate about and share that love of mechanics with my team and our employees."
