It is official... I am now a mommy and a doctor! 2018 has been a year of note so far. The final examiners feedback came back on Friday so the announcement from Da Vinci went out yesterday. I know I worked hard but I didn't quite expect feedback like this, the last line below especially makes 22 years of pratice in the field and 4.5 years of research so worthwhile. Really a defining moment in my career. Thanks for walking this journey with me Rica. Now we just need to publish!

"This thesis was one of the most impressive I have read, probably because of the Topic and the academic way it was presented. Without doubt this research is innovative and of great significance.

The literature review is outstanding at every level. The candidate possessed a knowledge of the literature that revealed a breadth and depth worthy of many professional philosophers and was able to support her thesis with substantive erudite reading and practice in the field. The internal philosophical dialogue was captivating and could well form the basis of a reputable article.

The candidate reported extensively on the research process at the empirical level; and the success from the discussions was apparent.

It is worthy of the award of a PhD because of its quality and contribution to Knowledge. It is hoped that Leadership programmes can be developed from this research."
