Proud to be co-leading the Hispanics@IBM community!

Crystal & I are excited and honored to be leading the IBM Hispanic community.?We’re also incredibly thankful for the tremendous foundation Jesus Mantas and Maria Winans have built for us to carry forward.?Their passion, dedication and tireless efforts have furthered the position of Hispanics inside of IBM and, more broadly, across corporate America.

As we stand on the shoulders of the giants before us, we look forward to harnessing the passion of our community in driving awareness and building new opportunities for us all; whether it be through leadership training, technical education, uncovering new career paths and promotion opportunities or contributing back to our community and children, to name but a few.?

Our plan is simple.?We will reconstitute the IBM Hispanic Executive Council with representation across business units and local Hispanic business resource groups.??We’ll host a virtual summit to drive a prioritized agenda where we can make a difference with very clear outcomes, inside and outside of IBM. Plus, we will kick off a number of squads who will be responsible for helping us realize the vision and achieve our goals. Over time we expect to expand our efforts to work more broadly across our clients and partners as we already are today with HITEC, We Are All Human and SHPE.

One thing is very clear, the Hispanic community has a great opportunity ahead in leveraging our heritage, the growth of our population and shared values in order to provide our employers, our clients, our families and communities a better tomorrow.
