Is It OK to Be a Man and Proud?

Gentlemen, be proud of being a Man!!
I’ve had a fair few conversations with guys who feel they can’t embrace being a Man. That somehow being a driven, open, confident and hard working Male is somehow wrong in the eyes of the modern world.
Often, these guys are suppressing themselves and shying away. Fearing showing up in the world as their true authentic selves.
I fully embrace being a Man and all the energy that comes with it.
I embrace my drive and ambition and I apologise to absolutely no one for having this.
I also embrace being open, honest and vulnerable. Vulnerable with myself, those I love and care for and being open with the world...Something I once thought was weak and non manly, I now see as a strength.
I also embrace fear, I often feel fear. I fear public speaking, in growing a business, in being vulnerable with my fiancée and family and I feel fear in life and that’s also one reason I started training BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). Because I started to Embrace fear and know that being fearful doesn’t make me weak, it makes me strong. Same for any other Man out there.
I embrace Women and the energy they bring to the world. I was raised by a strong women and I’m marrying a strong, independent women and I love that about her. My Fiancée being strong doesn’t make me weak, it makes us stronger together.
For me, there doesn't need to be this whole agender around Men need to be strong and women should be weak or vice versa, AND for me there’s no top to reach, there’s NO hierarchy or king of the castle BS. We are all in this together and we can all support, encourage and create a better world together.
By embracing all of these parts of me, it doesn't make me superior to anyone else or less of a Man in my own eyes. It makes me...Well, Me.
Am I prefect? Absolutely not! I still battle with my male ego and consistently work on this. There are times when it runs me and I act from a place of negative, BS behaviour. However I will continue to grow and become a better man because I know there’s no perfect. I don’t expect the Women of the world to be perfect beings, so I can’t expect the same of myself.
Gentlemen, this article is about how we can ALL strive to be better Men and make the world a better place, by controlling our male ego, embracing our true selves and consistently up levelling ourselves!
We don't need to suppress who we are, AND we shouldn't feel the need to suppress anyone else for us to feel superior.
If you and I continue to show up in the world as the very best version of ourselves, then this means we can be the BEST Husband, father, partner, friend, leader, CEO and MAN we possibly can be...
,,,AND we get here by being open, honest, vulnerable, asking for help, working on ourselves and parking our ego.
Thank you for reading
David
