If you're dreading the Christmas holidays because you know you'll be prevented from seeing your own children during this special festive period; stay strong.
The deliberate action of breaching official child arrangement orders and denying children their basic human right to family life in a post separation landscape (contrary to UNCRC Article 9), is both illegal and unconscionable when there are no safeguarding issues to justify it.
The psychological manipulation which can result in a child rejecting and dismissing the love, warmth and extra nurture from one of their parents, can damage that child for life. It can result in self-esteem issues, trust issues and ongoing mental health issues. An appalling legacy for any child.
Good Egg Safety has recently undertaken a prevalence study into the relational phenomenon of parental alienation and we have been inundated with stories and information that are almost beyond comprehension.
Many in public life are currently unaware of the abject misery and harm inflicted on children, target parents and alienated grandparents. It's all 'under the radar'...due to the secrecy of the Family Courts.
Over the next few weeks and months, it is our intention to make the hidden visible, so everyone can see this issue for themselves.
And, for those of you affected - and we know from speaking with hundreds of alienated parents that many of you are literally hanging by the weakest of threads - we want to give you hope.
