Card safety: six fundamental rules

To help keep your cards safe, always follow these six essential rules:

• Never share your PIN: Keep your PINs confidential. If you must write them down, don't store them near your cards, and never write your PIN on the card itself.
• When you type in a PIN, always cover your hand: Covering your hand keeps your PIN safe from prying eyes.
• Never leave your cards unattended: Always take your cards with you when you leave your vehicle, and never hand them over to others.
