Developers always have this dilemma on which content management systems will be the best choice, either you buy one or build it from scratch Buying CMS has its pros and cons already. In this article we will show you want are these pros and cons.
Here is the Top Four CMS Site and there Pros and Cons:
Wordpress
Pro:
Here you can customize everything. From the layout, to the checkout pattern and almost every inch of the site you can change. This is a great for starting your CMS based site from scratch with little or even no budget at all. It doesn’t need any special skills to understand how to implement and create this kind of platform.
Cons:
Everyone may think that this is a great platform, but they don’t know the securing part of it. The whole securing process must happen on your end, either buying SSL certificate or many other baked securing should be done by you or your coder. So yes, it’s good to have this kind of platform that user-friendly and does not need any special understand or skills to operate, but the downside are that it not secure at all.
Magento
Pro:
This one is an extremely powerful platform. Also, many big companies prefer this software from their site and it is owned by EBay which make it more trustworthy. Everything here is fully customizable making the site as your own design.
Cons:
The bad thing about these is that it’s a hell to develop with this platform. It’s lack of direct resources to find what the software had to offer. When you hit a wall of problem working with Magento you need to literally dig your answer of the internet. If want to start a site with this platform you need to invest a lot of money and time having only a barely finish site.
Drupal
Pro:
Drupal is an open source type of CMS, meaning you can freely modify and distribute code without worrying about license fee. Also Drupal is a great experience for skilled developers in coding. Having a fully customizable coding, Drupal offers a lot of possibilities of producing a more advance website than other content management system. And also it is perfect for advance sites that require complex functionality and versatility.
Cons:
The downside with Drupal is the open source-ness of it. This requires developer expertise just to make the whole site itself. Without an expert developer, Drupal may not be the CMS for you. Another downside is also the installing part of the platform, same as the managing issue installing also needs some technical expertise.
Shopify
Pro:
You will have everything you need in one area. It also offers fully secure servers. All you need to do is some front end coding; the backend coding is on the Shopify side already. The best part of this platform is you don’t need to worry about security it’s already taken care of. You can design and customize everything around this platform.
Cons:
This is where the downside part goes all out. The only way you can customize the checkout design is if you pay the higher tier. This is probably one of the most crucial places in the checkout flow. Yes, it may be a business at all but for the client side who can’t afford or don’t have the tier, they can get only a little customization of this part where the design and flow doesn’t match.
Wordpress is extremely slow and basically it is still just a blogging software. Suitable for small projects but you can't do anything big with it. Let's say company's intranet solution.
HRIS Remediation. AI Governance and Validation. SuccessFactors. Dayforce. Workday. Salesforce. Plan. Schedule. Release. Deliver. Govern & Validate.
