Any new application should be addressing a need. The needs in the real estate, whether for the developers or for the end uses, are as old as the real estate itself. These needs are addressed through two main drivers, tools and resources, and the main catalyst for them is affordability. Today, lots of PropTech companies focus on offering the stakeholders tools to serve their Communication, Organization, Quality of Service and Management needs at an affordable cost with lots of control on what Stakeholders’ buy.
Technology is allowing them to do this, offer some of the old services like brokerage and facility services with much easier tools and more competitive pricing. Some of the old service providers are moving quickly to PropTech applications and use their know-how of the market to come up with efficient tools, and some are struggling to stop losing their customer base to the new startups.
Real Estate businesses are huge everywhere in the world and PropTech is disrupting it. There is a big room for improvement and many startups are taking the lead on this.
