Lehigh Lanes recently hosted the first-ever PBA tournament held on string machines utilizing EDGE String, at the Lehigh Lanes PBA50 Open. We spoke to Chris Keane, who with his partner Dennis Bush, are co-owners of Lehigh Lanes about some of the challenges they faced before installing EDGE String and how it made a difference in their center.?

They were having issues getting repairs done to their free-fall machines quickly and this impacted the bowler experience. Chris and his bowlers are happy because play is faster and lane down time is decreased. More play = greater profits and happier bowlers.?

“We’ve had people come in to bowl in a tournament that never bowled on them before that said, ‘My God, these things really are good, I’ll be back’, so if anything, it’s probably increased our attendance,” says Chris.?
