Property of the week- coming soon!
Beech Avenue, Effingham was home to Sir Barnes Wallis, the inventor of the bouncing bomb. His house also backed onto the fairway of the 548 yard par 5- 17th hole. Perhaps this is where his idea was conceived as he watched golf balls bouncing down the fairway in front of him.
The property offers great potential and sits on a stunning west facing plot of 2/3 acre. The views from the house and garden are quite exceptional and, on a clear day, you can see Windsor Castle and beyond.
We are delighted to have the opportunity to offer the house for the first time in 37 years and expect strong interest due to the potential, the views and the location, which is hugely convenient for the good local schools, in particular St Teresa's School for girls.
