Although state law has yet to provide property tax relief for California homeowners, know that your local counties may have late penalties waived if you are unable to pay by April 10.

In LA County beginning on April 11, the day after property taxes are due, people unable to pay on time for reasons related to COVID-19 may submit a request for penalty cancellation online.
