Dan Lazar is the co-founder and CEO of HeroX, a property development firm in Melbourne, Australia. Originally hailing from Romania, Dan first planned on becoming a professional tennis player, but when that didn’t pan out, he realized property— and Australia— was where he wanted to be.

In this episode, Dan describes his childhood growing up in Romania, where he became the vice national tennis champion. He takes us on a journey across oceans and tennis courts, detailing how he met his mentor-to-be and how the decision his parents made turned out to be for the best. In addition, Dan also discusses his pitch that eventually landed him on Shark Tank Romania.
