'Proof of life' - why it's essential for business!

Proof of life!!!

Watching Money Heist on Netflix atm - it got me thinking about business. There's a scene where police negotiator, Raquel Murillo, asks the villains for 'proof of life' that their hostages are all alive and safe. Why? It comes down to trust! Raquel needs certainty what she is being told is 100% true before she can take the negotiations to the next step. 

The same applies to our businesses. Our audience needs to trust us before they will buy from us. It's not enough to just say we are good at something (who else feels icky when doing that???) or share testimonies. Unfortunately, many business owners make the marketing mistake of only telling - but there is another way. More subtle, more believable and more persuasive.

And what's that? 

Show your clients what you do. 

Use photos of you in action doing what you're great at - give them 'proof of life': 

• running successful workshops, teaching beautiful yoga classes or nailing speaking to large audiences
• passionately making your products and being the craftsman genius you truly are
• being open and approachable with customers whether that be in a coffee shop, at your office or on your computer (got to love Zoom!)
• you get the idea... whatever you do in your business get in photos and show you being the expert and leader you are!

And when we do - magic happens.

Your clients trust you. Your audience buys from you.
