PROOF OF HOW THE USTA, WASTES TIME, DOES NOTHING, AND PROTECTS ONLY THEIR WELFARE.

Seven years ago, I proposed a vision for the USTA leadership to inquire, follow, and adapt for the game's benefit. They have chosen the opposite, do nothing, listen to nothing, and continue with their habitual ineptitude and incompetence. In those seven years, that is two tennis generations, they have lost more kids and tennis real estate and only accomplished more revenue from bankers who do not know or care to know tennis.
Read the vision and then you should write to the CEO demanding his resignation at [email protected]
For the past few decades, the sport has been run very poorly. Please note I am talking about the sport, not the US Open. I care about the sport and not about the US Open because they are two different things. The USTA and its leaders conflate both to hide the state of the sport and show its real inability to grow the sport. I was in New Haven last week, lots of empty seats, Delray in February, and DC last month, even more, empty seats. If you pay close attention much of the audience is people over 55, what happened to the kids? People reading this be the judge of the true state of the sport. I hope people realize that the audiences and participation have shrunk to such low levels. Why do we entrust the people who brought this situation to the sport, to begin with? again? Reading this paragraph, next time you watch a tennis event on ESPN or the Tennis Channel of the US Open Series pay attention to the empty seats. Here is a shot of the Women's final last week. Plenty of empty seats in a college town (young people) SEE VIDEO This tells you that my stand is correct and proves my premise.
Don't confuse the success of US Open to the reality that the USTA has left us managing the sport. Two different things.

Notes :
Growing the game is the right thing to do. I am sure many of you agree with me, as I am sure many will disagree. I encourage the people from the USTA, especially the young ones help turn this around. I can be reached at [email protected] or @palenquej
