Prompting You for Information

You may already be using an AI-driven employee listening platform. Perhaps your company will have one soon. Capturing your workforce's feedback and ideas is just the first step!

Once the listening data has been collected, creating a strategic and thorough set of prompts helps you draw out the most important information to your organization and your HR initiatives. You'll often have several categories of stakeholders and perspectives for the data. You can create prompts for the AI system to help you focus on leaders, managers, employees, administrators, customers, and more.

Here are a few prompts to set you in the right direction:

  • What are the top three areas where our leadership team can take action??
  • Which teams have the greatest percentage of employees expressing frustration?
  • What are the top customer experience issues identified by employees?
  • What are the top themes in customers’ comments about my team?
  • What themes have emerged from new ideas submitted by employees?
  • How does my team compare to other teams in terms of engagement (or inclusion, career growth, or other areas of concern)?
  • What actions can be taken immediately to improve inclusion (engagement, employee experience, innovation, productivity, or other area of note)?
  • How has our feedback on transparency changed since the previous period?

Once you have your baseline prompts, be sure to dig deeper with follow up questions to ensure you get a full picture of the data. Creating effective prompts and finessing questions in just the right way to get at the data you need takes practice.? ?
