PROMPT Framework ChatGPT: A Copywriter's Guide to embrace AI but stay human
In an age where artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming industries, professional marketers and copywriters find themselves at a crossroad. Will you move along or resist? Whatever you choose, AI is here to stay. You better embrace and stay human. See tools like ChatGPT as your personal assistant and do what you do best. Create great content, but now do it faster, smarter, and in a more personalized way.

Lay the groundwork. For whom are you making this text? Preparation accounts for 40% of your overall success. Ask yourself the right preparatory questions to get into your reader's mind. Then uncover your reader's questions with the Persona prompt.
Use this prompt as an example and then create your own Persona prompt. It helps to get into the brain of your reader. And we all know that writing copy is about answering the questions of your audience. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Act as [assign a role to ChatGPT]. Create a persona for [company name]. What questions does someone who buys [product/service] have? What motivates them to buy it? What prevents them from buying it? Put the questions, motivations, and obstacles in a table.
Set ChatGPT in a role and give him/her/it a concrete task
Act as [role]. What role do you want ChatGPT to play? This part specifies that you want ChatGPT to take on a specific role, which could be anything from a persuasive copywriter, a SEO marketeer or Harvard professor, depending on your needs.?
Good morning. I would like you to act as a senior persuasive copywriter. Today, we are going to rewrite some copy for this specific landing page. Are you up for it?
The funny thing is. He is always up for it. An amazing assistant.?
Create [task]. In prompt writing, specifying a task is crucial because it ensures clarity and focus, guiding the content creation towards a specific, measurable goal. This approach not only enhances the relevance and effectiveness of the message but also provides clear direction.
I will show you the landing page in a sec. The task is that I want to rewrite all headlines and utilize the basic motivators of greed, fear, status, or self-actualization, without explicitly naming them. The headlines should motivate people to [desired call to action]. Place the headlines in a table and indicate in the second column which basic motivator you've used.
Show as [format]. By asking ChatGPT to place the headlines in a table you give him an instruction how you want the content to be shown.?
Write copy for the Brain and use proven Persuasion principles
The Persuasion prompt helps you to get people to say an earlier “yes” to your proposal. We all know the work of Steve Krug, Daniel Kahneman, Robert Cialdini and BJ Fogg. Use these insights. It’s proven. They work.?
And most important of it all. Stay human. Bring your own tone of voice. People do business with people. Not robots.?
