Today's devotional is from What Would Jesus Ask You Today?

Who then is the faithful and wise servant?" - Matthew 24:45.

God is in the promotion business. He is looking to establish His people in leadership positions, but He doesn't simply promote nice people with good intentions. He uses those who have proven themselves faithful in the work He has put before them to do, and those who have grown their wisdom and capacity for fruitfulness through success and failure.

Are you extracting wisdom from your life's work and lessons to share with others? Do others consider you faithful in that you keep your promises and honor your commitments? This truth played out in Daniel's life. When you read Daniel 6:4, you will understand why God gave Daniel such a prominent position. Then make it your goal to be just like him.
