On August 28, 2024, the Random Act of Kindness (RAK) Club at SNS College of Technology convened a session, coordinated by faculty member Vijayakumar Rangasamy and led by club president SRI RAM , where students gathered to share their experiences in social service and discuss the future of the club. The session emphasized the importance of kindness and the significant impact that small acts can have on society.
Students recounted personal stories of their contributions to society, from organizing community initiatives to supporting underprivileged individuals. These experiences highlighted the power of kindness in fostering a more inclusive and compassionate community, serving as a reminder that even the smallest gestures can create a ripple effect, benefiting both individuals and society as a whole.
During the session, attention was given to the upcoming registration for leadership positions within the RAK Club. Although the process has not yet been finalized, students were informed about the available roles and encouraged to step into leadership positions. This discussion underscored the importance of student involvement in shaping the club’s future. As the registration progresses, it is expected that many will come forward to take on leadership roles, strengthening the club’s mission to promote kindness and community service on campus and beyond.
