Promoting Fresno's Greatness Internationally
Last week, the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation visited the state of Jalisco, Mex. and held different meetings with business organizations, government authorities, and educational institutions, to promote opportunities for economic growth, new academic possibilities and to collaborate jointly on new cultural events that will allow us to better understand and appreciate our history.??????????????
In this meeting, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between The Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation and the city of Zapopan was carried out, with this signature collaboration bases were established, and strategic alliances were created to promote entrepreneurship, culture, and identity between the municipality of Zapopan, Jalisco, and the Central Valley of California.
?We appreciate the trust and commitment of the Mayor of Zapopan, Juan José Frangie, with this agreement the bases of collaboration were established, and a strategic plan was created to promote entrepreneurship, strengthen culture, support the innovation of new products and services, for the mutual benefit of the community that resides in the Central Valley of California and in the State of Jalisco.

Dora Westerlund, CEO and President of FAHF; Saúl Jiménez, President of California State University, Fresno; Miguel Arias, District 3 Council Member of the City of Fresno; David Preciado, Director of Export and Import at FAHF; David Valdivia, President of Valdivia Marketing Group (VMG), and Lorena Valdivia, Vice President of VMG.
