Often times we come across great examples of sportsmanship where a player helps, encourages and appreciate the effort of the player of their rival team. In some cases, even celebrate their win. Good sportsmanship?not only builds character but also teaches respect, honor, kindness, inclusion, resilience, and more.
I think we should encourage and practice the same in all professional careers. This week I received a note from a former colleague on how the team has won a major engagement and thanking me for my contributions. This made my day and made me realize that its about the impact you make and legacy your leave behind that matters more than just the commercial success...
I am grateful of having worked with so many great professionals and leaders in my consulting career (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC) and now Wipro..?Making the C3 (Client, Community and Company) impact through Cyber Security will always remain my passion.. Also celebrating each other’s success and promoting culture of appreciation (even if its competition) should be part of everything we do.
