- Millennial: Blind loyalty to companies. Profits are the only measurement of success. Inflexible/not adaptable. Doesn’t get with the times (ex. Remote/flex work). Time in seat is “value” to them.

What is ONE thing you wish other generations understood about your generation in regards to the work/career?
- Gen Z: Doing our best to not burn out and set boundaries for our own mental health, because we saw what happened with the generations that didn’t. We don’t believe we have to stay somewhere until we die, life is too short for that. We are hard working. We want fulfillment and actual leaders in our career. ?
- Millennial: Money doesn’t motivate us like older generations thinks it does, we want flexibility. We care about culture/work environment. Titles mean nothing to us if you can’t back it up with knowledge. We want financial security, we are sick of treading water at our age when older generations didn’t face the struggle we did (bad financial economy). We are not lazy.
- Gen X: We are sick of “waiting for our turn” because boomers wont retire. We also hate inefficiency like the younger generations. We are extremely adaptable. Our perspective matters. Give us a job and get out of the way.
- Boomer: Not all of us suck at tech. We have a lot to share (knowledge). Older doesn’t mean we are obsolete.
