the promise of something more.

The future of enterprise technology isn't just about features - it's about making complex systems work for real people. Let's build it together.
Converged, Hyper-Converged, Bricks, Pods, Worker-nodes...etc
These technologies that cram as much of a workflow as possible into management stacks seems pretty great to the armchair datacenter architect. But what are we actually getting? Is this really an end game? This convergence of only the hardware layer...besides tiles in your datacenter...what else are you getting? ( don't get me started about NSX). What about failure domains. What about putting all your eggs in one basket, didn't some wise old dude say..."this is not a good idea?" I'm 100% onboard, but let's take a few moments, step back and make sure we are not painting into a corner.
