Happy 4th of July this past week and celebration of The Promise to our Country & Nation.
What is your promise as a citizen of the United States of America?
The other day I cried in utter joy watching the new documentary film of my childhood hero, Mr. Rogers, in the movie about his life, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?â€
I can’t recommend a movie more.
It is the perfect film to watch while pondering our responsibility and promise to humanity in making the world a better place.
With this in mind, I invite you to put it on paper, open your journal, and write what your promise is to our Country & Nation, at a time when we need it most.
Do you make this a better place? Wherever you are? Whomever you come in contact with?
Do others feel uplifted and inspired by your presence?
Does your work family like having you around, whether you are the owner, boss, manager, or leader?
Does your family at home enjoy your company?
In your community are you a good neighbor?
Recently I received a very wonderful recognition from one of the great do-gooder families of the world: Jason & Kim Kotecki.
