What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare?
My journey into healthcare was influenced by growing up in a small town dominated by CIGNA, the largest employer in our community. It seemed almost inevitable that I would work there. They accommodated my school schedule, and both my mother, brother, and numerous friends were employed there. However, it didn’t take long for me to recognize the profound impact healthcare has on individuals, sparking my passion for healthcare accessibility.
Why Prominence Health?
I find it exciting to be part of a growing health plan; there's always something new to tackle. Because of the growth opportunities I’ve been given, I’ve had the chance to take on new challenges, learn new skills, and advance in my career at Prominence.
You do so much to support our team at Prominence. What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is the people. I'm grateful for the dedicated staff I have the privilege of working with, who continuously inspire me with their hard work. Equally rewarding is the positive impact we make on the individuals we serve, knowing that our efforts truly make a difference in their lives.

Any fun facts about yourself that we may not know?
I love all genres of live music and have been to almost 100 concerts or festivals over the years. I've even seen Snoop Dogg in concert!
If you could have dinner with any historical figure or fictional character, who would it be and why?
I would choose the Golden Girls. They were the epitome of friendship and living life to the fullest. They entertained millions and inspired a generation to embrace aging with grace and laughter. Sharing a meal with these women would be a night filled with laughter, wisdom, and unforgettable stories.?
What advice would you give to your younger self?
If I could give advice to my younger self, it would be don’t sweat the small stuff. All the insecurity and anxiety that may consume you in the moment ends up being insignificant. Instead, embrace life with confidence and know challenges are temporary. Trust yourself and cherish the journey, imperfections, and all.?
Thank you, Angie! You are truly a powerhouse and we appreciate all you do for our team and members.
