New Product: Anti-HiBiT Monoclonal Antibody

HiBiT-tagged proteins are typically measured using the bioluminescent signal generated by adding Nano-Glo??HiBiT detection reagents, providing for precise measurement of changing protein levels over 7 logs of linear dynamic range. The new Anti-HiBiT Monoclonal Antibody expands detection options, enabling applications such as immunoblotting, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation and fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). Its high affinity and low background binding allows detection of many HiBiT-tagged proteins at endogenous expression levels.

Detect Cholesterol from a Variety of Biological Samples

The Cholesterol/Cholesterol Ester-Glo? Assay is a rapid and sensitive bioluminescent method for detecting cholesterol from a variety of sample types, including lysed cells, tissues, medium and serum samples. No organic extraction, extreme heat or centrifugation is required and the assay has linear cholesterol detection up to 80μM.

Bioluminescence imaging is a powerful tool for non-invasive studies of the effect of treatments on cells and tissues. Su et al., in a recent publication in Nature Chemical Biology, reported the results of evaluating and optimising NanoLuc??substrates in brain bioluminescent imaging. These efforts led to the development of cephalofurimazine (CFz) and some exciting results.
