Lumit? Grants – Applications Are Open! (UK and Ireland only).
Would you like the chance to convert your current ELISA or Western blot immunoassay to a fast, sensitive Lumit? immunoassay? Promega UK is offering four academic researchers the chance to receive Lumitise Grant Funding to convert their current immunoassay to a Lumit? immunoassay
Products
Easily Detect Ketone Bodies in Biological Samples
New BHB-Glo? detects β-hydroxybutyrate allowing users to study subtle changes in ketosis, in addition to ketone body consumption and secretion. Its streamlined sample preparation protocol involves acid treatment and neutralisation directly in the assay wells, eliminating the need for cell collection, centrifugation, spin columns and deproteinisation. The assay uses a sensitive bioluminescent readout and is scalable to 384 well plates.
The BacTiter-Glo? Assay for Rapid Microbial Viability Testing
The BacTiter-Glo? Microbial Cell Viability Assay streamlines the measurement of viable microbial cells in culture by measuring ATP, delivering results in just five minutes through a simple add, mix, and measure protocol.? It offers greater sensitivity than traditional optical density (OD) measurements, allowing for early detection of growth from as few as 10 bacterial cells. Adaptable for automated and high-throughput applications, such as antimicrobial drug screening, this assay is ideal for fast and precise microbial analysis in both research and clinical environments.
Lighting Up Cell Signalling With Bioluminescence
Promega's cell signalling products use bioluminescence for detecting and quantifying enzyme and protein activities in signal transduction cascades. The ADP-Glo? Kinase Assay offers a highly sensitive and scalable method for kinase activity detection, complemented by an extensive range of optimised Kinase Enzyme Systems, including over 100 mutants. The award-winning NanoBRET? technology is used in kinase target engagement assays to monitor kinase-compound interactions and residence times in live cells. Additional assays are available for GPCR signalling, glycosyltransferase activity, and various other enzyme activities.
