Projects for delegates? Yes!

You are designing a training programme so your delegates do things differently afterwards.
What project could they do to practice and embed those new ways of doing things?
Could imagining and creating that project be part of their programme?
Make sure their projects, however large or small, have a tangible and measurable value to the business; this then becomes part of your return-on-investment evidence.
What if the projects collectively generate more savings or revenue than the cost of the programme?
Wouldn't that be cool!
My best wishes, Paul
Transferring learning into on the job results
8 个月Great point. We try to have a project in every important training we do. This helps link learning to application and drives meaningful business results. Designed this way, learning is really a support infrastructure to achieve projects they couldn’t do before. This type of program is directly aligned with work, gets great results and is easy to evaluate. Because of this, some clever managers insist we never say “training”or “learning” and just say “project.”
