The World Health Organization forecasts that by 2035, 24 million people will be diagnosed with cancer each year. This represents a roughly 70 percent increase from the current figure, which is estimated to be over 14 million. Approximately half of these cases are expected to be linked to lifestyle factors, including alcohol abuse, physical inactivity, obesity, radiation exposure, and smoking.
