PROJECT UPDATE: Riverside Junior College Design Takes Shape

Developing from initial schematic drawings, Riverside Christian College’s brand new Junior College precinct is beginning to take shape! Our team meticulously models facades and spaces to allow client stakeholders to visualise, and meaningfully critique the design as it evolves, ensuring that it meets their unique requirements.

Based in beautiful Maryborough, the new facility will take advantage of sweeping views of adjacent parklands and the Mary River, and focuses on freeing up open outdoor play areas for students in Prep and Junior year levels by replacing ageing single storey buildings with a two-storey learning precinct.

The building has been designed to modernise the College’s main street frontage and Junior College entrance, and takes into consideration future plans to upgrade car parking, setdown and pedestrian access across the precinct.

Construction will be undertaken in stages to allow gradual decanting and relocating of learning spaces to achieve safe and economic building conditions. Stage 1 is due for completion in 2023.
