- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
- Experience applying problem-solving strategies and tools.
- Willingness to travel for business needs and professional growth.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed during system implementations or to address technical issues.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in team management.
- Familiarity with system testing practices and tools.
- Experience in vendor product selection, evaluation, and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using project management tools such as Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Gantt charts, network diagrams, and resource scheduling.
- Understanding of risk management techniques such as Critical Path Method (CPM) to manage project timelines and risks.
- Knowledge of various System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworks, including Waterfall, Agile, and Rapid Application Development (RAD).
- Ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with strategies to initiate and manage organizational or process changes.
- Knowledge of quality management practices and continuous improvement techniques.
- Strong proposal writing and presentation skills for management-level reporting.
- Project Oversight & Risk Management (50%): Ensure that project objectives are met on time and within budget. Actively manage project risks, establish timelines, and keep customer satisfaction a top priority.
- Team Coordination & Planning (20%): Lead project team meetings to define scope, outline deliverables, and develop project plans. Schedule and facilitate internal and customer meetings to monitor progress and address any issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to ensure project success.
- Documentation & Status Tracking (20%): Maintain essential project documentation and track project milestones and deliverables using MS Project. Provide ongoing status updates to stakeholders.
- Change Management (10%): Manage any changes to the initial Statement of Work (SOW) by collaborating with customers and VISI operations. Ensure the change management process is followed and seamlessly integrate customer requirements into VISI’s operations.
