Project Manager - Active Secret Clearance - Washington - salary $100-110k

V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking Project Manager - Active Secret Clearance client in Bothell, Washington. This is a full-time, direct hire position in information technology & services industry.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?

• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to represent complex concepts and issues to a geographically diverse audience are required.
• Strong project management skills (requirements gathering/finalization, project plan development, communication plan development/execution, task mapping, resource assignment, task management, risk management, progress reporting, scorecarding) required.
• PMI or other equivalent certifications desired but not required.
• Outstanding ability to deal with ambiguity and make sense of complex issues via multiple information streams.
• The ability to analyze existing processes and procedures and suggest/influence optimization and efficiency changes.
• Effectively applies methodologies and enforces project & program management standards.
• Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide executional excellence to US consulting practice, generating revenue directly through billing and indirectly through input to sales activities, service improvements, and new service offerings.
• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Reviews and understands deliverables prepared by team before representing to client.
• Demonstrated competencies influencing & facilitating actions and activities of others at all career levels.
• Ensure projects are properly scoped, resourced, executed, tracked, reported, and closed according to organizational standards.
• Identify, engineer, and drive improvements across the practice that improve quality, reduce costs, and increase value proposition.
• Manage the project portfolio system and catalog for the practice.
• Oversee the organization’s “Vendor of Choice” program, defining and driving incremental improvements.
• Identify business opportunities through day-to-day interactions with clients.
