Practically, for the EGINA FPSO Topsides Detailed Engineering Design ($191m excl. variations) we constituted a Steering Committee made up the MDs of the Consortium, National / Expat Project Director(s) and PMs, Project Controllers and HR Managers. Collectively and departmentally, we set up criteria, KPI’s, Key Success Factors and benchmarks to handle key issues from the initiation stage. It involves setting up systems and processes to manage the complex interfaces between TOTAL (client), SAMSUNG (EPC Contractor - in multiple locations; Nigeria, Beijing, South Korea, others), and the Engineering Consortium (the Detailed Engineering Contractor) and multiple vendors and subcontractors.
