Project Engineer - Zeeland Province - 12 Month Initial Contract - Petrochemical Industry

I am currently looking for a Project Engineer with chemical / process industry experience to work for a petrochemical company in the Zeeland Province. The client has a need for a project engineer to join them delivering site based capex projects. The role can start any time between now and the end of 2022.

The role will suit a Project Engineer with experience in any process plant industry (oil & gas / chemicals) who has experience delivering multiple capex projects up to about 5m€.

Project Engineer Specification:?

START: November (Interviews next week)

LOCATION: Zeeland Province

DURATION: 12 month contract (Client have said there is enough work until 2025).

Essential Skills:

Project Engineering experience (5-10+ years).

Mechanical or Process Engineering background preferred, ideally in oil, gas chemical or similar process industry.

Site based experience, working on sustaining / improvement capex projects.

Ability to deliver projects from initiation to completion, including basic engineering, vendor selection and construction. ??

Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving in the field.

Roles are responsibilities:

Responsible for performance of engineering & project delivery contractors

Prepare project reports and present to the management team

Create project organisation and outline responsibilities for each role – create scope for each role

Overall responsible for project budget

Reporting to the project engineering Manager, the role will incorporate delivering a portfolio of projects between 200k-5m€. ?

The client has a relatively urgent requirement and will be able to interview next week. ??
