Project Card: Animals in the Wild

In this project, Year 3 were tasked with answering the big question, 'what do you know about the wild animals in our community?' This involved them using their literacy skills to write a non-fiction text about wild animals. Once they'd written these they used an app called ChatterKids to present them engagingly. They also had a visit from some very wild animals, who helped inform their research and got the chance to go to London Zoo!

My favourite part was the trip to London Zoo. I learned about what animals eat and where they live! - Year 3 Student

To finish the project they invited their families and friends to do 'Go Wild Party' where everyone played games and the students got the chance to showcase their non-fiction texts.
