Thank you for giving me and opportunity to explore the impact of experiential or project based learning with my students.

Unboxing event: still missing the rocket engines


I teach 4 sections of Pre-Algebra and 2 Foundations in Mathematics courses. On February 9, we conducted Project Based Learning activities. I am going to abbreviate my remarks due to content restrictions. (They don't want a windy letter.)

Surprised at how many of our female students embraced this activity versus our male students

Only took 30 minutes of class time for this activity


Basically, my 2nd, 3rd and 4th periods had the most impact. My 6th period had some impact. My 7th and 1st periods had almost no impacts. That is something I have to fix. I own that. THANK YOU!!!!!

I divided Third Herd (period 3) into rocket, drone and camera teams. This is the rocket team.
