?? The most popular trending news reports in HR Tech, Workplace Tech and Web 3.0

We reported on over 42 start-ups funding rounds, new tech features and updates in 2022. Here are a few of the most popular in no particular order.

Edition 14 (November) - 5Mins.ai raised a round of funding in a bid to introduce a bit of "workplace learning in an attention-deficit world". Think the gamified Edtech version of TikTok. 5Mins raised a $5.7 million round at a $16 million pre-money valuation.

Since going to market in March 2018, its recurring revenue has grown 20x. "We are building the first global learning super-app that companies of all sizes can use to upskill everyone, improve employee retention and drive innovation," said co-founder and CEO Saurav Chopra Over the next two year the startup will use the funding to focus on building out its team, moving into more countries and verticals, and building a more robust set of metrics to see the efficacy of the platform on business outcomes.

Edition 13 (October) - Israeli HR Tech startup?TaTiO ?raised $5.3M seed ?for their AI-based work simulations platform to help diverse/underrepresented job seekers prove their skills.

Edition 10 (July) - ?Robin , a workforce platform that manages hybrid work,?raises $30M ?betting that hybrid is here to stay.

Edition 5 (March) - Supervity announces $1.5M in seed funding . Techforce.ai - featured above - will use these funds to accelerate the development of its no-code SaaS product and expand its global presence. In a recent press release Sriram Papani ,?Co-Founder & CEO, said “We believe the future of work will be driven by higher cognitive work, and our vision is to empower workers with our user-friendly AI and Automation software. We see immense opportunity, as less than 1% of knowledge workers today have access to automation and just-in-time assistance to succeed in the evolving digital workplace”. #worktech

Edition 4 (February) - Deel is now enabling businesses to fund payroll in USDC. Per a recent blog post titled Cha-Ching! Businesses can now fund payroll in USDC , "companies that hold their money in USDC can make a payment directly to Deel via their Coinbase account to cover payroll and payments for their global team. Once the business has paid the money into Deel, contractors can withdraw in over 150 currencies, including Crypto."

Edition 2 (January) - Quan Wellbeing raised $1.5M from YCombinator to tackle worker burnout. CEO & Co-Founder Arosha Bouwer told TechCrunch, "?“For far too long, players in the people and culture platforms have been measuring ‘employee engagement’ and ‘employee experience’ without providing ways to effectively manage well-being and linking it directly to business metrics. Hence the reason why issues such as burn-out and toxic corporate cultures have been trending in the wrong way."

Arosha along with CPO & Co-Founder Lucy Howie , launched the beta product in March 2021, and are now working with 12 organizations, over 1,000 paid users and a platform engagement rate of 88%. Read more about Quan here.
