Progress Report
12 days in, one birthday later do I still feel uncomfortable?
Sadly, yes.
When I brought this up with my coach they said "is the month up yet?"
And when I answered no, I was also asked what did I think I'd learn by expecting results before the task was completed.
One of the things I like to do is measure something (usually feelings) using a sliding scale. At the start of this experiment my ick factor was a straight 19 out of 20.
Today it's an 11 out of 20. I want to get it down to a 4 or a 5, so I'm progressing in the right direction. Until I looked at the sliding scale, I wasn't evaluating things properly. I was letting my feelings run the show without digging deeper or questioning why I had them.
What other progress have I made?
I use a variety of tools for sales pages from my website, to ThriveCart to Zenler. The tools that performs the best without a shadow of a doubt is Thrivecart. Yes, the sales page content is slightly different, and I have different things in different places, but taking out all the random variables, ThriveCart is outperforming everything else x 7.
This pleased me and disappointed me simultaneously. As it now means I have to move my sales pages in to ThriveCart and use Pabbly to make them talk to each other as there isn't a native integration between the two. It might seem like "work" but the results will be worth the action I'm taking.
One day I didn't have the Buy Button on the Zenler checkout. So no one could grab the Blogging Black Book. #Sigh.
The most popular item so far is the SEO Planner, and this is also the email that generated the most replies. This really warmed my heart. Several of the comments around my planners have been that you didn't realise they were so good.
I've been making planners since 2012. Long before the current planner-journal mania started, and I test everything. So when I put together a planner for my courses or clients I know if they use it they will get results, and if they don't get results I ask to see their planner and every time it's blank.
They simply work.
This email is is longer than I thought! So, let me finish this tomorrow and share with you today's birthday deal...
This is a multi-purpose tool. You can use it to create an effective website, you can use it to improve your current website, and you can combine it with the SEO Planner to increase your visibility.
Enjoy!
