Progress at a personal level- How best to quantify it?

How do you truly recognise progress in your life? Is it about having a bigger house than before—does that really mean you’ve advanced? What about driving a more expensive car—does that signify you’re making progress? More money in your bank account—does that alone define success? And what about the increase in acquaintances or superficial friendships—does that count as real progress? If your ego has grown larger, is that genuinely a sign of growth??
True progress isn’t just about material gains or how others perceive you. It’s important to look deeper and assess progress on a spiritual and emotional level. Ask yourself: Are you calmer now than you were before? If the answer is yes, that’s real progress. Do you feel more at peace with yourself and your surroundings? That’s a sign you’re moving forward. Are you more content with who you are and more confident in your own skin? If so, then you’re definitely on the right path.?
Consider your relationships—have they become more meaningful, more enriching? If they have, that’s a clear indication that you’re growing. Progress isn’t just about the big, noticeable changes; it’s also found in the small steps you take every day towards gaining knowledge and fulfilling your spiritual needs. Sometimes, progress requires you to focus on specific areas of your life. When you acknowledge these areas and make a conscious effort to improve them, that’s when you’re truly progressing.?
Remember, you are the best judge of your own growth. Only you can truly measure how far you’ve come. Keep striving, keep evolving, and most importantly, keep growing!?
