Programming is hard and broad

Programming is hard and broad.
I have found that the problem with most newbie programmers is the idea they have initiated. This idea seeks to convince them that they can't start building projects with the little they know. Most times, what I ask people in this category is, "How much do you want to know before you start building projects?". The reality is that, you can never be as good as you can be if you don't pause learning for a while and actually build stuff. No matter how many tutorials/courses you finish, you can never be equivalent to someone that has built projects.
It's not enough to have that software engineering certificate. The real question is, "Do you know how to solve problems with the current knowledge you have?" So my advice to you starting out in programming is to start building, build more than you learn because building is a greater form of learning!
