Professional Persistence

I've spoken to approximately 50 CISOs this week - Only in the last 5 minutes has one of them mentioned they were willing to discuss a project that might fit the skill set we offer here at Orange Cyberdefense - Sometimes that's the way it goes, but in my favour, I have been professional and courteous with every conversation I have had this week and know that, because of that, when I call the other 49 CISOs again at some point in the future, they will at least take my call and might also have a project that they are prepared to discuss with me.

If everything balances out, which it usually does, and I put the same level of effort in next week, I will speak to another 50 CISOs but his time I will uncover 5-10 projects we might be able to help with.

As long as you are courteous and professional, persistence, for me, is the only true way of achieving your goals.
