Professional diseases

The "occupational disease" file is investigated and liquidated according to the same rules as those relating to accidents at work.

The benefits you can claim are the same as those provided for accidents at work.

Procedure

• You have a disease:
• Contracted in the professional environment
• Appearing on one of the tables of occupational diseases set by regulation.

To declare your occupational disease, you have a deadline of:

• 15 days minimum
• 03 months maximum, from the date of the medical observation of the disease

File to provide

• A declaration of occupational disease (AT16 Download the document..)
• An initial medical certificate (AT17 Download the document..)
• A certificate completed by the successive employer(s) concerning the positions actually occupied by the victim.
