With state budget challenges, program closures, mergers and a new presidential administration, there are many uncertainties amongst us. One that resonates with all of us is our concern regarding our PROFESSIONAL futures.
We love our field but may find it difficult to remain engaged while resources are scarce. We also want to provide a quality service for clients.
We must work together to achieve our goals and this workshop is ALL ABOUT YOU! This is the FIRST of 3 parts in our professional development series.
Workshop Outline:
- Understand the "State Of Our Union"
- Understand our role and how we stay engaged despite barriers
- Discuss the skills that we have as treatment professionals that are essential to employers
- Uncover ways to use our skills that will allow us to sustain income and build creditability.
Networking/Registration: 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Workshop: 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Cost: $15 per person ($5 for current GSU students)
Where: F1622 (Lecture Hall – F Building) – Governors State University
