Professional Deputies - new service
Professional Deputies are pleased to announce an additional service we are now offering – Welfare benefits assessments.
Lee Ryan, our Client Financial Affairs Manager will be responsible for this new service. Lee possesses over 25 years of experience, working within the field of welfare benefits, community care, and local authority funding for care. He has worked in all the major sectors, including the voluntary, legal, public, and private sectors throughout that period, and has built a reputation for his expertise throughout England and Wales. For some years Lee worked in a specialist role within financial services, helping to advise and support clients who have suffered life-changing injuries because of medical negligence or road traffic accidents. Through this role he fostered close relationships with many solicitors and legal practitioners throughout the country to help them and their clients obtain the best possible outcomes with regards to benefits and care provision. These close relationships are already starting to come to the fore with a number of matters already received from a small but growing number of law firms around the country, who may not have the specific in-house experience to assess their client’s entitlement to applicable welfare benefits.
Lee is someone who believes passionately that clients should receive all the relevant care and support available to help them maintain their independence as much as possible, and to be there to provide practical and informed advice and assistance whenever the need arises.
We believe this newly offered service will perfectly complement our core services of acting as either an Appointee, Attorney or Deputy, whilst also providing us with the opportunity to form new relationships with a number of law firms working in related fields.
