...PROFESSIONAL CAREERS & DEVELOPMENT ARE PERSONAL CHOICES AND THEY SHOULD BE RESPECTED...
Listen, there are pros and cons to every type of career and the pathways to them. I have an 8 to 5 and I happen to own my own business...why? Because it is my personal choice and preference (of course with God's blessings). Now, do I or would I advise you to do the same thing? IF and ONLY IF it is something you'd like to undertake. Not going to tell you that you need to do either or. However, I'd gladly explain the benefits should you inquire. Here's the deal:
1. Full time entrepreneurs don't have to dis 8 to 5ers
2. 8 to 5ers don't have to dis full time entrepreneurs
3. The best professional approaches are subjective at best
4. If you believe in MLMs...rock on
5. If you do not believe in MLMs...rock on
6. If being your own boss works for you, then be your own boss
7. If you need another person to be your boss, then so be it
8. Many advantages if you work for yourself
9. Many advantages if you work for someone else
10. If/when you have to get up and work regardless of your scenario, there will be PROS and there will be CONS
If you invite me to a business meeting, and the speaker spends the first 30 minutes trying to convince everyone how sorry their life is because they happen to be working for someone else, to me, it's no different than someone in politics creating a false crisis or narrative to get a vote (this has been done for centuries in politics). Why not encourage people to make the best of their situation? Teach them how to build on what they already have, instead of tearing them down for being where they are. Everything ain't for everybody. But common ground can be reached and there could be benefits for everyone involved if the right approach is implemented. At the end of the day, the magnitude of success in any scenario is as subjective as it is factual. It all depends on a person's situation and how they choose to view success.
I wish EVERYONE the ultimate success in whatever career path you choose. Just keep the faith, develop a quality process, and BE CONSISTENT.
