Prof. Dr. Sayed Fleifel is a guest at Eye on the Orient
As I was one of the first to confirm the #solutions of (a #NewWorldOrder) and predicted the #scenario of what would happen as well as the expected time period for that, and through (expert interviews) that I conducted over the course of two years 2020-2021 in Moscow through 22 international experts.
Egyptian experts and researchers, including our honorable guest Prof. Dr. #Sayed_Fleifel (Professor of History at the Faculty of African Studies - #Cairo_University), a well-known thinker and head of the Parliamentary Committee for #African_Affairs, also had a role in this proposition. This is due to his strong and specialized scientific background and his experience in the world of the #South, whether in #Africa or in #Asia, or #Latin_America in general. Accordingly, we were honored to host him for the second time, which coincided with a new season of the “#EyeontheOrient” project in collaboration with #AlAhram_Gate, to inform us of the global #changes taking place, and his vision of matters in this regard. Thus please enjoy the video's interview and the text thereof at AlAhram Gate.

An Expert Interview via Eye on the Orient with Prof. Dr. Sayed Fleifel, Professor of History, Faculty of African Studies,?
Cairo University
We must pause before a big question: where is the world heading in the face of the acceleration of events that are taking place?
Dr. Sayed Fleifel's statements to "Eye on the Orient":
"Egypt is making tremendous efforts to stop the escalation in the region, adheres to the policy of zero problems, and maintains strategic patience with neighboring countries."
"The world can no longer bear the endless wars...and the indicators bear signs of a new cold war."
Africa no longer accepts the old recipes of the West and is looking for profitable partnerships with China, Russia, India, and Japan.
"The new world order will inevitably come... and it will not be disrupted by the fall of a balloon or double standards in dealing with the Palestinian cause and the victims of the Syrian earthquake."

The biggest question currently circulating in the minds of global thinkers is - Where is the world heading Dr. Fleifel?
We are twenty years away from the invasion of Iraq and thirty years from the collapse of the Soviet Union since Bush the Father declared a "New World Order". And some countries made the new powers in Asia, South, and Latin America a new form to meet the hegemony of the United States. We are currently in the process of restoring a multipolar world and preventing the monopoly of one power in international affairs.
Are you concerned? Or is it the difficult birth of a new world order?
Of course, a difficult birth - and it may take time compared to the time of building the previous world order, especially in the history of states. The fall of empires is not easy and heavy prices will be paid, and America will be highly aggressive, and Robert McNamara's book The Arrogance of Power indicates that.
Unipolar hegemony occurred after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Do you see that the time period for the collapse of the current powers will not be less than this period for its construction?
Perhaps the new powers in Asia as well as Russia are ready to manage things and we may need less time, but what is feared is the tendency of NATO and countries such as America, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea to build a maritime belt that encircles the Asian powers and control international trade routes from the south in opposition to the Road and Belt project.
We are on the 20th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, and there are demonstrations in Washington to confront the endless wars. Experts talk about the invasion of Iraq creating a strategic vacuum and the treatment prescribed by Bush and Tony Blair was worse than the disease because chaos and turmoil are worse. How do you evaluate that?
A prominent example of the stupidity of American unilateralism in the international system is the tragedy of Iraq and the false allegations of the United States that Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction, as well as the dissolution of the Iraqi army. That is, opening the door to chaos and opening the door for America or Iraq’s neighbors to drain Iraq’s wealth, and make Iraq one of the poorest peoples on earth, and a large migration of millions occurred from Iraq. Currently, 63% of Americans demand the immediate abolition of the state of war and that the invasion was a mistake. Madeleine Albright's dialogue was revealing through her acknowledgment that the killing of a million Iraqis was a price worthy of America's interest, and therefore we see that rational people in the world are calling for a multipolar system.
Was the fall of the glamorous slogan "changing the regime by force and rebuilding countries again" the most important thing through the experiences of Iraq and Afghanistan?
Certainly - when America entered Afghanistan, they invoked the presence of al-Qaeda and ISIS, and before leaving, they became more powerful and obtained weapons worth about $17 billion, according to reports. As for Iraq, the loss of a central state with a sophisticated social and educational system, scholars, and innovators became a domain for terrorist groups, and the state's fall at the time was an indicator. The failure of the American experiment precipitated the need for a new world order.
There are major diplomatic breakthroughs and successes for the new powers that offer a new vision for the multilateral world order, especially after the Saudi-Iranian rapprochement, as well as alliances with African countries, is another proof of that - how do you see that?
The success of the new eastern powers with Saudi Arabia almost replaced a great American Gulf experiment that began in the nineties of the last century with the invasion of Kuwait and also on trying to protect the Gulf countries from the scarecrow that they propagated at the time (Iran), and nothing happens to you. While the new powers have resumed negotiations, cooled tensions, eliminated problems and non-positive interactions, such as media matters and skirmishes that occur from Yemen, and accordingly, the Gulf accepted this experience with China as if America was not present, and Saudi Arabia and Iran reached a solution that America did not present.
As for Africa - it was noticed that the Western presence in West Africa, despite the spread of political Islam, did not protect these countries from extremism as expected, so why is the West present - and therefore African countries returned to coups and expelled Western forces that were only interfering politically in countries and imposing a specific agenda without developing solutions - As for China, it took development measures through the China-Africa Forum and generalized development through its development projects, developing reciprocal trade and adjusting logistics in terms of ports, airports, and infrastructure that these countries expected from the West, and the latter did not pay attention to Africa.
Accordingly, the President of the Congo told the French President: "You should deal with us with respect and not only pay us tourist visits."
Egypt, as the leader of African countries, was able to hold the climate summit and adopted the slogan of African compensation from the West - how do you see the Egyptian vision?
The situation is similar to the honorable position of the late President Abdel Nasser, and the attempt to be neutral between East and West, and it appears from the Egyptian leadership to uphold the spirit of national interests and the Egyptian citizen's need for development, which made the Egyptian foreign policy to zero problems. As well as adopting the return of Syria and attracting Iraq to the Arab region, rebuilding Arab positions, understanding with Turkey to get out of Libya, the issue of eastern Mediterranean gas, and a large number of countries - Egypt is distinguished for its strategic patience, and without it, an Egyptian-Turkish meeting would not have taken place. This, in turn, was reflected in the current level of development.
The numerous visits of the Egyptian President to the new forces prove that there must be a multiplicity of keys to the powers and the citation of multiple development systems whenever the development line is closer to realism.
With regard to the issues of the downing of the Chinese balloon - and the American march over the Black Sea - and the order to arrest Putin and the double standards in the Palestinian issue and the victims of the earthquakes in Syria - are these signs of labor for a new world order?
Because, for example, America deals with the Ukrainian issue and how much attention it has given to Ukraine compared to what is happening with Palestine and the Palestinian people over the course of decades. It supports the occupier in exchange for the oppressed.
The same applies to the Syrian citizen compared to the Turkish citizen in the matter of the earthquake, and this situation forced the United Nations to open the door of aid to Syria.
As for the issue of the airship - America is no longer alone in having the strategic decision for the world and the birth of a new world order is inevitable, but perhaps the price will be heavy, and moral bankruptcy appears in the decision of the International Criminal Court on the issue of arresting President Putin.
