Prof. dr hab. med. Wasilewski joins Advisory Board of startup attained.ai

We just got confirmed that Prof. dr hab. med. Bohdan Wasilewski joined our advisory board. This is a huge contribution to the medical section of our advisory board.

Bohdan Wasilewski studied at the Medical Academy in Lodz and Warsaw. In 1972, he started working at the 2nd Psychiatric Clinic of the Psychosomatic Institute in Warsaw, during which he completed his specialization in psychiatry and obtained the title of doctor of medical sciences, he was an assistant and then the head of a psychiatric ward. He continued his scientific and didactic activity at the Uniwersytet Warszawski as the deputy head of the Department of Biomedical Foundations of Development and Education, and then at the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education in Warsaw as the head of the Department of Medical Sexology and Psychotherapy, obtaining the qualifications of a certified psychotherapist and the degree of doctor habilitated in medical sciences. For two years he worked at the Psychiatric Clinic of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit?t München , he also completed shorter training stays and joint research visits at the 英国伦敦大学 , 美国哈佛大学 , Moscow State University , Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin and the Medical University of Chernivtsi. From 1993 to the present, he has been employed at the Psychosomatic Institute in Warsaw, as medical director and associate professor, professionally active practitioner, psychotherapist, scientist, and academic teacher. He is the author of 187 publications in scientific journals; he is also the author or co-author of 52 books, including books translated into four foreign languages. Bohdan Wasilewski is a member of many scientific societies and a member of the editorial boards of four scientific journals. His publications are widely cited in the scientific literature (citation index CIF - 32), and one of his works, very often mentioned, was classified by the journal "Current Contents" as a classic of scientific literature. Bohdan Wasilewski worked for over two years at the Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Munich, pursued long-term cooperation with 美国哈佛大学 , and completed short-term internships at the Universities of London, and Berlin, among others. He is a member of the authorities of several national and foreign scientific societies and medical associations, a long-time chairman of the Polish Balint Association, and the Section of Psychosomatic Medicine of the Polish Medical Society.

Decorated with the silver cross of merit, the badge of the Polish Medical Society: "Meritorious for the Polish Medical Society," and other national and foreign medals and decorations.

As part of his scientific and social activities, he focuses on the mission of humanization of medicine; for many years the editor-in-chief of the journal "Sztuka Leczenia/Art of Healing," published by the Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie . Author of three book publications of his poems and poems published in several national and foreign collective publications, member of the Union of Polish Physicians Writers. Author of poems, theater plays and musical-poetic etudes in film form. He actively works within the international organization of IPPNW doctors and the ICAN organization, awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize.
