Productivity Snapshot
Recreating a photo a decade apart with Demetrius Farrior!

Productivity Snapshot

My heart has been heavy with the devastation in my favorite city, Asheville, NC, and throughout the South. It’s hard to stay upbeat. If you want to help, consider donating to the Red Cross or a vetted local organization. Also necessary, please be cautious when sharing posts on social media, where many people are spreading rumors, untruths, and other conspiracies. This is not helpful to the people suffering there.

Before that, I had a fun time as the opening and closing keynote speaker for the Association for Home & Hospice Care of North Carolina . The 2.5-day event kicked off with a DJ and rooftop dance party at the Embassy Suites in Wilmington, right on the water. I danced the night away with the group, mocktail in hand (thank you, restaurants and bars, for making this more common!). The next day, I spoke about how to ignite their focus as leaders, and I closed by sharing how to ignite the focus of their teams. Sold out of books and got some incredible feedback! I even got a fab testimonial recorded from Kaitlyn Pearson .

One of the unexpected highlights was a coffee date with Andrea Anderson CEO Productive Environment Institute , where I earned my first productivity certification, and @Demetrius Farrior a Productive Environment Specialist and Lifestyle Modification Coach. We recreated a photo from 11 years ago!

After that, I retreated to my favorite garden cottage for four days of book editing and prepping to send it off to my beta readers and the book marketing for my January launch.

I also rescued 475 accountants from their inboxes and even stopped by 美国北卡罗莱纳州立大学 Park Scholars program to teach email etiquette to college students. The top complaints about this age are - lack of professionalism, unclear subject lines, and poor grammar. One thing I expressed to them was the AI and Botox analogy. Curious? Listen here.

RaderCo Client Concierge _Lisa Veronica Wood and I also carved out time to meet for coffee and a walkie-talkie for our Q3 reflections and Q4 planning—easy peasy with our Powered Path Playbooks?.

Friday, I trained a biotech company to Find Their Meeting Mojo.

Popular actions to implement in the next 30 days - not multitasking during meetings and not accepting a meeting on autopilot (if I'm optional, then the answer is 'no'.)

Productivity Quick Tip: My 50 by 50 Challenge

In my 100th and final episode, I wrapped up my "50 by 50 challenge"—50 goals before I turned 50. From surprise trips to breakdancing to trying new foods, I share what I learned.

POWER TIP: Reread a book that changed you—you’ll find new insights the second time.
