Production Value Matters - February 2022

Production Value Matters - February 2022

We are seeing a great resurgence of the resurgence in the event industry!

Ontario, where we are based, is seeing an acceleration of the reopening plan, announced this week. This is all based on great data and science as the Omicron Wave subsides.

As of the 17th of February, Convention and meeting spaces, where proof of vaccination will be required, are removing capacity limits, with March 1st being set for the full capacity limits being removed province wide. Along with other major markets across Canada, now is the time to start to finalize planning for your return to live in person events!

Don't forget the online audience though!

In a great post over the SuperBowl Weekend, John Pistotti Wrote:

The?#SuperBowl?is an event. ??

In-person attendance is estimated 70K. Broadcast (Virtual) attendance is estimated 117 Million. ??

Imagine if the NFL said, “We really value the in-person experience so we are going only in-person this year.” ??

That is basically what many organizations are doing as they abandon the virtual / hybrid component of their events. ??♂?

The real question is what can organizations learn from the Super Bowl to drive engagement and attention. ??

We couldn't agree more.
