Job Title: Production Support / Application Support

Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Summary:

A production support person is responsible for monitoring the production servers, scheduled jobs, incident management and receiving incidents and requests from end-users, analyzing these and either responding to the end user with a solution or escalating it to the other IT teams.

?Job Description:

• Ability to work in a complex application support environment and work closely with business and client BA.
• Ability to provide technical solution to batch issues, monitor, follow up with different vendors/teams.
• Recommends, develops, writes, and communicates business requirements for the design and implementation of solution & strategy.
• Defines test plans and system documentation to monitor testing for the implementation. Analyze and test to determine functional compatibility and integration issues.
• Implements integration plans, Interfaces with cross- functional teams to incorporate plans into integration testing process.
• Work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Work closely with Logility SME from client side for delivering projects on time.
• As it’s a Production support environment, applicant needs to be flexible enough to work odd timing/ late nights, if required.

?Primary Skill:

• Demand planning application from Logility Voyager?
• Ability to Debug/code/Build/Test .Net C# code on Visual Studio.
• Need to have work experience in Oracle SQL.
• Need to have work experience in Power shell scripting.
• Need to have work experience in writing test scenarios and creating test cases on HPALM.
• Ability to implement practical business solutions under strict deadlines.
• Ability and desire to work with people as part of a high-performance team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, End to end implementation experience.

?Secondary Skill:

• Added advantage to have experience on Bitbucket.
• Good to have experience on Batch process monitoring.
• Good to have Production L1/L2 support experience.
